Just to update you too, the squatter camp was demolished on Friday morning. They say the police showed up, gave them an hour to leave in peace if they wanted (which they didn't) and then they started shooting tear gas and burning tents, the people fighting back with dynomite. The newspaper estimated over 400 families were there. So the people are gone, though they swear to be back in the thousands next time and to fight. For now there are polie up there making sure they don't come back, but I'm sure that will change at the end of the week. Who knows if they will come back. Bolivians don't seem to be very commital, but that's all for now.
