This weekend was definately full of many adventures. I have already written about Mosoj Yan and our cultural evening there. Then Saturday morning, Drew took us to a good market that is closer to our house, and a lot less crazy than La Cancha. It was nice.
Sunday, we were invited to our neighbor's grandson's baptism. This is the picture we bought from the photographer. The baptism ceremony took less than 30 minutes, but the party lasted all day. After the service, we went to the house and sat down to a big bowl of soup.
There was another exciting event that happened last night. Drew preached for our church. He packed the place out. Well, the room was full, but most exciting was to see that a few of the girls he had played soccer with one night, who aren't Church goers decided to visit. Drew did well in his sharing. We are excited to see many of the kids we play with come to church with us. Being that the church meets in an orphanage, they are very kid-friendly and are eager for more youth to come.
