We put a slide show on the blog. If you scroll down on the right side, you should see it. We hope to add more and more pictures as time goes on.
We went to a cultural night last night at Mosoj Yan. This is a Christian organization that reaches at risk girls on the streets. Drew and I would like to become involved there in some capacity once life is slightly more settled. If nothing else, I would like to go there regularly next summer with Beth and Bonnie (and anyone else who comes to visit). The girls run a coffee shop in the front of the building and sell homemade cards and other crafts to help support the ministry and home. Last night was Bolivia night, because August holds several Bolivian holidays, including Independence Day. The whole place was alive with the sounds of drums, flutes (men blowing up to 4 at a time), guitar, and charango. The women in the store would get up and dance too. It was a lot of fun. AND even though it is in the middle of the city, the bus that comes to our corner goes right to Mosoj Yan.
